The ones of you who feel the urge to climb a moutain, Bolivia is made right for you. In fact, there is a high number of mountains of different hights. Some are more challenging than others, and altitudes go from 5000 to 6100 meters.

You first take a bus or taxi to a village near the moutains. You then walk a long way until you reach the base camp. Early in the night, you start climbing the mountains with you ice picks and crampon boots until you reach the top and enjoy the marvellous sunset. Make sure not to forget your cameras and water bottles (that will freeze)!

The Wayna Potosi is the favorite destination for mountain climber and a great challenge. It forms a trilogy of mountains, mitics in the Aymara culture.
